ANXIOUSLOOMERS, EIN (39-2122317), is a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) Nonprofit based in Delaware County, Ohio. Our mission is to "Undo the Taboo of Mental Health" and remind our community that mental health is a part of overall health. Our founder, Taylor Larr, learned this lesson first-hand from a group therapy session during a difficult season of panic attacks. There, Taylor watched someone weave yarn around a circle loom to make a winter beanie. The gentle, repetitive motion was mesmerizing, calming, and finally provided a way for him get out of his own head. That moment became the foundation for a lifelong coping skill, and ANXIOUSLOOMERS became a way to pass it on. Through workshops like "Weaving Wellness" with our partners at SourcePoint, we invite you to pull up a chair, pick up a loom, and discover what a little yarn can do for the soul...
The Board
Taylor Larr — Founder & President
Taylor Larr is a Powell, Ohio native and Ohio State University psychology graduate whose personal experience with therapeutic crafting inspired the founding of ANXIOUSLOOMERS in 2025. As Founder and President, Taylor leads the organization's mission to undo the taboo of mental health through the healing power of loom knitting — bringing that vision to life through the Weaving Wellness program and a growing network of community partnerships across central Ohio. Beyond ANXIOUSLOOMERS, Taylor serves on the Olentangy Local School District Finance and Audit Committee and the board of the Delaware County Land Conservancy, reflecting a deep commitment to the communities where this work takes root.
Brooke Cavallo — Secretary
Brooke Cavallo is a Columbus-based marketing entrepreneur and Ohio State University alumna with over a decade of experience in digital strategy and influencer marketing. She is the Founder & CEO of Bee Ariel Consulting LLC and has led campaigns for nationally recognized brands including Google, P&G, Unilever, and NBCUniversal. Brooke is equally passionate about mentorship, actively guiding the next generation of marketing professionals through Ohio State's PRSSA program. She brings her expertise in communications, strategy, and community-building to her role as Secretary of ANXIOUSLOOMERS.
Brendon Bland — Treasurer
Brendon Bland is a Dublin, Ohio-based Mortgage Loan Officer at Neighborhood Loans with a background spanning finance, operations, and client relations — including roles at J.P. Morgan and Amazon. A University of Cincinnati graduate, Brendon brings a people-first philosophy to everything he does, grounded in the belief that lasting relationships and data-driven thinking go hand in hand. As Treasurer of ANXIOUSLOOMERS, he applies that same approach to supporting the organization's financial health and long-term sustainability.
