About Us

Welcome to ANXIOUSLOOMERS—where fuzzy yarn, busy hands, and open hearts come together to support mental health.
We're a nonprofit rooted right here in Delaware County, Ohio, and our mission is simple: "Undo the Taboo of Mental Health" and remind our community that mental health is a part of overall health. Our founder, Taylor Larr, learned this lesson first-hand from a group therapy session during a difficult season of panic attacks. There, Taylor watched someone weave yarn around a circle loom to make a winter beanie. The gentle, repetitive motion was mesmerizing, calming, and finally provided a way for him get out of his own head. That moment became the foundation for a lifelong coping skill, and ANXIOUSLOOMERS became a way to pass it on. Through programs like "Weaving Wellness" with our partners at SourcePoint, we invite you to pull up a chair, pick up a loom, and discover what a little yarn can do for the soul.
